Step-by-Step Renewal Process
Gather Your Documents
Collect all required documents listed below. Make sure your CNIC is valid (not expired).
Fill Out Form 1
Visit your nearest NADRA passport office to collect Form 1, or download it from the official DGIP website (dgip.gov.pk). Fill it in carefully — no corrections allowed.
Visit the Bank
Deposit the fee at any designated bank branch (HBL, NBP, MCB, or UBL). Get the original challan receipt — you'll need it at the passport office.
Visit NADRA Passport Office
Visit any NADRA passport office with all documents. Take a token number and wait for your turn. Biometrics will be taken at the counter.
Receive Acknowledgement Slip
After submission, you'll get a tracking slip with your token number. Keep this safe — you'll need it to track and collect your passport.
Collect Your Passport
Collect your new passport once ready. You can also opt for home delivery (fee applicable) or track the status via SMS or the DGIP website.
Required Documents for Renewal
- Current (old/expired) Pakistani passport
- Original CNIC + 1 photocopy
- Completed Form 1 (no corrections)
- 2 passport-size photos (white background, 35x45mm)
- Bank challan/fee receipt (original)
- Police verification report (if required for your area)
⚠️ Important Notes
- • You can renew your passport even if it's not yet expired
- • If your CNIC is expired, renew it first
- • Black ink pen only for Form 1
- • Photos must be recent (within 6 months) and on white background
- • NADRA offices are open Mon–Sat, 8am–4pm
